been drawing a lot while i wait those 4 minutes for a print to develop...which means fantasizing about julian casablancas and jordan catalano... i have also been making use of my test strips. kool. i also drew marion crane from psycho when we watched it in film n lit. her hair is so good. i have a new moleskine. new sketchbooks/notebooks feel so good.

being back at school means plenty of time to use up by drawing stupid shit like jt avec cat body and skeletor avec bmx bike and other bullshit. hey but i'm finally a senior. all of this is going to be over soon thank god.

camera-free

summer homework for my art studio class that i did the night before...i ended up likin em though. they describe august pretty well...i always make art that documents stuff. even when they're not photos. sometimes i draw it when i didn't have the camera.

dutch inspired

the first, inspired by all the beautiful churches and religious artwork there is here in europe, and the second, the view from my hotel room window and who i have been listening to religiously.

i've been in utrecht a week now, papa left today. i am by myself...in a foreign country...the independence is a bit overwhelming... i was pretty uneasy this morning, until i sat down in a park and some kids started playing in a fountain and included me in their game. they were about 10 or so, and one of them cut his finger. i remembered i had a bandaid and i helped him put it on, and i dunno, it just felt nice to connect with someone even if it was a small connection and a small conversation and a small interaction.
