last sunday i went to "protest" the "walk for life" rally in portland with my bud lena and my favorite sub, barron. barron runs the group "respect for life" which emphasizes that obviously abortions aren't something anyone wants to have, it only happens when it is necessary. the problem isn't abortions, the problem is unwanted conception. and this is totally preventable!! just be cautious with your junk, homies! wear a condom, get a vasectomy, take birth control, masterbate, stay abstinent, have gay sex! there are so many ways to prevent unwanted conception! however, abortion definitely needs to be legal, because of course there are circumstances like rape and incest, and accidents obviously happen. making abortion illegal would only make them much more unsafe. pro life and pro choice don't have to be so divided! we can all unite to prevent abortion, cuz really, who wants to abort a fetus?! no one! but we shouldn't have to compromise our sex lives in the process! to learn more, go to respectforlife.org. take care of yourselves lovelies!!

ReplyDeleteYou’re being naive. Some people do want to “abort a fetus”. They’re 25 they live together they don’t feel ready to have a kid. Abortion. End of the story. They’re in college they don’t want to leave, they can’t afford raising a kid. Abortion. Where I live people don’t see the fetus as a person. So it’s like getting rid of your appendicitis. I don’t agree with them. But you have to understand that things are not that simple. Sorry for my mistakes I’m French.

OF COURSE abortions need to be legal, because sometimes they are necessary, like in the situations you mentioned!! but if people would protect themselves against unwanted conception, like using condoms and getting vasectomies and taking the pill and whatnot, abortions wouldn't need to happen [as often]. what i'm saying is that no one goes out and says "damn i hope i get an abortion i totally want one of those," it's only when it's necessary.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, a fetus is not a child. Second, not only would it harm the mother, it would hard the soon-to-be child. If a child is unwanted, are they really going to have a good life?
